Safe Shore is a safe space operating in festivals and parties, offering guidance and support
Safe Shore is a Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Peer Support project, offering guidance and support for those who are dealing with a challenging experience triggered by the use of psychedelics, with the intention to transform a challenging experience to an opportunity for healing and growth. The altered states that are awakened from the use of psychedelics allow, in the right set and setting, a deep exploration of the human psyche and an integration of contents from the personal and collective unconscious. Safe Shore’s “sitters” operate in collaboration with the medics and security teams in parties and festivals and offer grounding support, that allows the processing of these contents away from the highly stimulative event.
You are most welcome to take part of our action and contribute.
Holding Space' is an essential training for anyone wanting to hold space for people in extreme states. A juicy blend of embodied practice, scientific research, and practical advice. Nir and Igal expertly weave together meditative and playful exercises, to equip participants with the building blocks for empathic listening, and what to do in a spiritual crisis. The skills taught in this workshop should be learnt by everyone, as ways to deepen intimacy, and create a culture of love and compassion. I am deeply grateful to have attended and feel so full of hope that this work is being offered to the world. Thank you!
